Ua Floors® are renowned for high quality, precision-milled engineered wood flooring at the leading edge of fashion. Available in domestic and exotic hardwoods, this mill provides a nice range of products.
Their Grecian series has an aluminum oxide coating topped by UV cured polyurethane. It has a 1/12" solid hardwood wear layer which can be sanded one time.
Their recently introduced Olde Charleston Collection includes a Wormy Chestnut, a light brown wood which comes from the Australian Outback. The Chestnut trees were burned in forest fires creating deep red scars and then were attacked by beetles which left black pin holes. The wood was processed, killing the beetles and milled into beautiful flooring, "Distressed by Mother Nature." Nothing fake, nothing artificial. No hand scraping or distressing.
Or, in the case of their True Reclaimed Heart Pine, what you see are the marks of heavy use over many years in a textile factory.
Their Peachtree Country Maple is made from true American Hard Maple, used in flooring for hundreds of years.
Hickory features the strength, hardness and toughness unmatched by all other North American species, which is the reason why it is widely used for tool handles and other heavy duty uses. Their Hazelnut Hickory shows character marks such as tight knots, darker heartwood and lighter sapwood and black worm tracks.
