If you want a floor that is completely unique, to your specifications, Carlisle can provide this. Milled by order, you can specify species, board width and length, color and finish, in both Reclaimed and newly harvested hardwoods from the United States. They will create flooring appropriate for any type of site conditions.
Carlisle begins its process by hand selecting each and every board for color and grain variation. They then texture the floor by hand scraping, wire brushing, or other techniques, to bring out all the beauty and pattern of the grain. To further enhance and customize the floor, they apply a stain of your choice. Each board is finished with their own Carlisle Custom Coat™ process which is formulated to slow moisture absorption. This finish provides a natural, hand-rubbed finish so that the wood grain is very visible.
